Not at all. This masterclass is designed for all levels, whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who already does their own makeup and wants to refine your technique. Everything will be broken down step-by-step so you can follow along with ease.
Just yourself. A workbook and notepad will be provided to take notes during the Masterclass. We’ll talk you through step-by-step during our live demonstration.
Yes, absolutely. The class is structured to be simple, practical, and easy to follow. We focus on real techniques that you can apply immediately to your everyday routine, no matter your skill level.
But since our live demonstration will be observational, you will not receive products to apply on yourself in real time.
However, you will receive a goodie bag with makeup and skincare products to take home.
The masterclass runs for approximately 3 hours, giving us enough time to go step-by-step through each technique, demonstrate applications, and answer any questions along the way.
There will be a break during the demonstration.
As soon as you have your wedding date! Our artists are highly sought after and availability is limited, so we recommend securing your hair and makeup team 6–12 months ahead, especially for peak wedding seasons.
When you enquire, we gather your wedding details and the number of makeup and hair services required. Based on your date, location and bridal party size, we then carefully assign the right team of artists to you. A booking is only confirmed and artists secured once your deposit has been paid. From there, we guide you through the entire process, including timelines, trials and wedding day planning. The remaining balance is settled prior to your wedding day.
Yes, we highly recommend a trial so we can fully understand your vision and perfect your bridal look together. Trials are typically scheduled 4–6 weeks before the wedding day, but we happily accommodate our out-of-town brides by booking their trial during their visit to Port Elizabeth, where our team is based.
The duration depends on the complexity of the bride's desired look. As a guideline, we schedule 1–1.5 hours for the bride, and 45–60 minutes per person for each service booked. However, you don’t need to worry about the timing, as our team will provide a clear and detailed timeline before the wedding day.
Due to our high demand, we have a service minimum to make it feasible for our artists, who may need to turn down other work on your wedding day. This ensures we can dedicate our full attention and expertise to you and your bridal party, giving everyone the calm, seamless, and high-quality experience you deserve.”
Absolutely! We carefully assign a team of artists based on the number of ladies and services booked, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule on the wedding day. Please note that call-out fees may increase depending on how many artists are required.
Our artists use high-quality, professional-grade products suitable for various hair and skin types, including sensitive skin. We can discuss any specific concerns or allergies during the trial.
Yes, please ensure that your hair is washed the night before (unless asked otherwise) and regular skincare is applied in the morning, but no makeup, before your appointment. This ensures our artists' products perform as they should, gives us the best base to work from, and allows your look to last beautifully throughout the day.
Definitely! With decades of industry experience, our team is skilled in working with all skin tones, textures, and ages. Every look is tailored to your unique complexion, ensuring a radiant, camera-ready finish.
Both options are available. We recommend that your trial take place in our studio, so we can carefully refine every detail of your look. On your wedding day, our team will travel to your venue to take care of your hair and makeup so you can simply relax and enjoy the morning.
Travel and call-out fees may apply for on-location services, depending on the distance to your venue. Additional costs may include accommodation (if required) and additional artist fees for larger bridal parties. These costs will be included in your quote and discussed with you upfront.
We provide you with a small makeup touch-up kit for any minor adjustments needed throughout the day. We can also arrange optional touch-up services from our artists at an additional cost.
Kayleigh has carefully curated a team of trusted hair and makeup artists, whose work meets the same high standard as her own. Should she be unavailable on your wedding date, an artist will be recommended to you so that you can still experience the same level of care, professionalism, and beautiful results. We promise that you will always be in good hands.
